Vibration Measurement

Vibration measurement and data processing is one of the main business activities of CCPGE. Vibration measurement is an effective way to identify system dynamic characteristics and vibration sources, in order to diagnose system faults, control vibration and noise levels, and solve vibration problems.

Vibration Measurement of a Compressor Package Performed by CCPGE

The vibration measurement devices and data processing programs used by CCPGE include:

1. PXIe-4499, 24-bit, 204.8 kS / s, 4 Gain, TEDS, AC / DC coupled

  • 16-channel sampling inputs with sampling rate up to 204.8 kS / s
  • ADC with 24-bit resolution and 114 dB dynamic range
  • 4 kinds of up to +30 dB gain settings to guarantee the input signal ranging from ± 316 mV to 10 V
  • 4 mA IEPE and TEDS configured by software for microphones and accelerometers
  • 5 HZ coupled AC analog input
  • Synchronization of up to 272 full-bandwidth channels within a PXI Express box

2. Acceleration sensors

  • PCB 356A26 triaxial accelerometers
  • Range of 100g, frequency response of 0.5 ~ 4500 Hz, temperature range of -54°C to +121°C
  • PCB 352C02 uniaxial accelerometers
  • Range of 500g, frequency response of 0.5 ~ 10000 Hz, temperature range of -54°C to +121°C

3. Commercial and in-house programs including spectrum analysis, time-frequency analysis, waterfall analysis, frequency response analysis, transfer function analysis, order analysis, etc.
