Research and Development (R&D) Group

  • Keep track of the latest technical developments in vibration and stress analysis and measurements of mechanical equipment (including reciprocating compressor and pump packages), piping and pipelines, and structures,
  • Monitor the release and updates of relevant standards (such as API, ISO, and ASME) and regulations,
  • Develop in-house pre- and post-processing application programs based on commercial finite element analysis software (such as ANSYS, SAP2000) to continually improve the accuracy and efficiency of engineering modeling and analysis results,
  • Develop and enhance the in-house analysis program for torsional vibration and combined bending-torsional vibration utilizing integrated time and frequency domain analysis techniques,
  • Organize and provide professional training on the latest techniques and software for pulsation, torsional vibration, and skid dynamic analysis of reciprocating compressor and pump packages, and stress and vibration analysis of piping and pipeline, and structures,
  • Conduct R&D activities in collaboration with universities, research institutes and engineering companies,
  • Perform R&D on new energy technology applications, including the development of innovative technologies and products.

Engineering Analysis Group

  • Perform pulsation, torsional vibration, and skid dynamic analysis and engineering design of reciprocating compressor and pump packages across various applications, including offshore platforms/FPSOs, LNG engineering and new energies, in accordance with the latest API and relevant standards,
  • Perform stress and vibration analysis and engineering design of piping, pipelines (both buried and above ground), pipeline facilities (including compressor stations, pump stations, meter stations, valve stations, tank terminals, and launcher and receiver stations), and structures in compliance with specified codes and standards,
  • Perform complex 3D Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of mechanical equipment, piping and pipeline, and structures, including elastic-plastic stress, deflection, vibration, dynamic response, fatigue, fracture, and heat transfer analysis,
  • Perform engineering analysis and design of pressure vessels in accordance with ASME VIII Codes,
  • Perform other engineering analyses and designs as assigned.

Field and Integrity Engineering Group

  • Conduct on-site vibration measurements and troubleshooting of reciprocating compressor and pump packages, piping and pipelines, and structures,
  • Conduct on-site vibration measurements and troubleshooting of offshore platform/FPSO structures and the mechanical equipment mounted on these structures,
  • Conduct on-site stress measurements and integrity assessments, including API 579 Fitness-for-Service evaluations, for mechanical equipment, piping and pipelines, and structures,
  • Perform field engineering services, such as visual inspections of piping and pipeline supports and vibration conditions, as assigned,
  • Perform failure analysis and design optimization for mechanical equipment, piping and pipelines, and structures.

New Energy Technologies Group

  • Engage in the research and development of new energy technologies, such as hydrogen and CCUS, including the development of innovative energy solutions and new products.
