Dr. Da-Ming Duan from C&C PetroGas Engineering (CCPGE) was admitted as a member of CSA Z662 Design Technical Subcommittee by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA Group) in November 2022. He is now a CSA member that holds both Design Technical Subcommittee and Materials Technical Subcommittee membership.
Dr. Duan received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London, UK in 1996. He has worked in stress analysis, materials and integrity assessment of oil and gas pipeline for nearly 20 years, and has participated in numerous projects. Dr. Duan’s membership with CSA Z662 Design Technical Subcommittee proves that the extensive experiences and achievements of Dr. Duan and CCPGE in the field of stress analysis and integrity assessment of oil and gas pipeline have been recognized by peers in this industry. It also indicates that CCPGE has successfully joined the ranks of consulting firms with world-class advanced techniques and skills in stress analysis and integrity assessment of oil and gas pipelines.
